The Kennett Square Police Department is committed to providing safe roadways in the Borough. It is the responsibility of the Department to make safe roadways to reduce injuries, property damage, motor vehicle crashes, and the loss of life. It is the duty of the Department to increase compliance through awareness and enforcement. Active enforcement of vehicular code laws leads to fewer traffic related incidents and a higher qualtiy of life for the residents of the Borough.

The Kennett Square Police Department participates in DUI Sobriety Check Points and increased Roving Patrol Details. Members of the Department participate in the collision reconstruction county wide team and conduct Commercial Motor Vehicle inspections.
