The Kennett Square Police Department serves the community and provides 24 hours a day, 7 days a week police coverage to the citizens and visitors to the Borough of Kennett Square. The patrol officers are typically the first point of contact with a citizen and are the faces and image of the Department. The officers work to continually care for the community by being vigilant to the needs and situations that affect the lives of the residents and visitors to the Borough.

Patrol officers are dispatched from the Chester County Department of Emergency Services 911 Center. They respond to every 911 call as well as those calls which originate from Police Administration. These calls range from the most serious to the most basic and everything in between. Patrol officers place their lives on the line for the needs of the community and will do whatever is necessary for the safety of each and every citizen and visitor of the Borough.

You may also call the general line at 610-444-0501 for general questions and information. This line is active during business hours, 8:30-4:30, weekdays, excluding holidays. All Patrol officers are equally able to handle any issues you might have that require police attention.
