The Borough has partnered with Passport to add the ability for parkers to pay for metered parking spaces from their phones.

1.Parking-Meter-with-PPPRK-e1476197510658-768x1024

Drivers can download the PassportParking app and securely pay for metered parking using a debit/credit card. The parking app allows customers to monitor their session, extend parking remotely (up to the maximum allotted time), and view all parking history.

As a part of the mobile payment for parking program, the app will be available at on and off-street parking locations in the Kennett Square area where signage is displayed. PassportParking signage and decals located on the meters indicate how users can download and get started with the app.

The PassportParking app is free to download from the iPhone App Store and Android Google Play. Users can also manage their parking online at ppprk.com.

Once users download the app they will be asked to create an account which includes a verification process through phone or email and the creation of a pin number. To begin the parking payment process a user will be prompted to enter a zone number. The user then enters a debit/credit card and the parked vehicle’s license number. The meters in Kennett Square now have a passport parking sticker with corresponding zone number.
